1. More support to Friday Night Meat Raffles at the Aussie Hotel. $5 buys you 6 tickets but if you can't afford it, just buy 1 and a beer. Its the thought that counts and it all goes to charity (except for the beer that is)

2. More members showing up to meetings. Now that we are in a more central location - Maryborough is almost in the middle between Bundy and Gympie so come along. At least this venue has regular bands people!

3. Less politics. ie - I think if people have an idea and they wish to voice it to others, more power to them. If people wish to volunteer their time and effort to get the idea off the ground, they should be encouraged and given a go. Not everyone has the same opinion, budget or free time so the more mixed and varied our suggestions can be, the better. I feel there is slightly too much negative. If you think someone's idea isn't too crash hot - so what. Lets have some discussion before its swept under the rug. The more oposition given to fresh ideas, the fewer those ideas will crop up.

4. Share your phone numbers and emails with others.
Who knows, you might get a txt or email inviting you to an unscheduled, last-minute ride, party or event. It may come just when you're thinking "hell I'm bored"

Couldnt agree more.. we're about raising money for kids, having fun, and good old fashion socialising. I'd like to see everyoine this year see themselves as a ride co-ordinating, and passing this on to membvers as well as our elected ride co-ordinator. This year is a growing year for SCA Widebay, with lots of positive high energy members with a desire to grow, do good and have a blast in the process...
